Primary Responsibilities:

Lead overall direction and execute on design and development of learning solutions for sales, including mobile content, on-demand content (audio, video, eLearning, presentations, job aids, assessments, role plays, performance support), and instructor-led training (virtual and classroom)

Use extensive leadership, research, listening, questioning, and clarifying skills to take highly complex information and create solutions that are relevant to the sales audience and meet the identified needs

Apply visual and graphic design techniques to transform ordinary-looking content into a polished, visually engaging learner experience

Challenge the status quo and find innovative ways to approach training solutions; lead, influence, and push the envelope with new ideas and methods to enhance overall efficiency

Collaborate with sales trainers, senior leaders, subject matter experts, and internal resources to recommend and implement approaches

Lead / facilitate meetings focused on uncovering needs, gathering information, influencing direction, and moving projects forward

Direct and coach team members, which may involve resourcing; onboard and mentor / serve as expert to other Instructional Designers

Manage a workload of 3-4 complex projects simultaneously, actively driving to business-driven dates

Oversee testing, review, and evaluation processes; incorporate feedback; ensure high quality

Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and pilot training programs, as needed

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree required; Graduate degree in related field preferred
10+ years clearly demonstrated instructional design experience with top-notch design skills
4+ demonstrated experience designing for professional sales audiences (non-retail), including the ability to understand the sales role and design practical learning solutions
4+ years leading large instructional design projects
4+ years excellent leading, coaching, and mentoring other instructional designers
Exceptional graphic design experience (image creation/editing, layout, visual polish)
Demonstrated expertise writing and producing audio, video, eLearning, and classroom learning
Experience with responsive mobile design/development
Effective relationship building and the ability to collaborate with internal team members, leaders, and business groups across the organization
Advanced or better MS Office skill
Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate degree in related field

Ability to be productive in a highly collaborative and changing environment

A genuine curiosity for digging into content to understand, question, determine root causes, and make recommendations in order to create learner-focused solutions

Knowledge and drive to explore innovative technologies and incorporate them into educational solutions (mobile learning, social learning, multimedia)

Excellent software skills and the ability to learn new tools quickly; Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Articulate Storyline, Captivate 8, Gomo, Camtasia, SnagIt, Sound Forge, HTML 5 and equivalent programs

Professional persistence, patience, and flexibility

Experience in health care and/or sales field

Excellent coaching, consulting, and project management skills

Outstanding leadership and mentoring skills

Effective relationship building and the ability to collaborate with internal team members, leaders, and business groups across the organization
