We deploy graphics artists for proposal support to any of the MA offices
The graphic artist is responsible for working with proposal team to produce graphics in response to customer requirements. Resume must reflect graphic design and art skills. Candidate may occasionally aid in the development of educational and technical manuals, reports, brochures and presentations.
The graphic artist will work independently and as part of the larger Advanced Media creative team to develop and edit graphics for use in proposals and other Advanced Media projects and business. This role will work closely with key stakeholders and participate in creative strategy to graphically illustrate highly technical and complex concepts. The work will involve creation of high impact graphics and proposal images that contribute to producing a winning proposal.
All work follows establish processes and protocols to ensure version control and proper storing of the file. All art and desktop publishing adheres to Raytheon brand and corporate identity standards. The graphic artist works closely with the proposal team and Advanced Media peers to develop images that illustrate and convey concepts (some Engineering or Technical drawings) and comply with specific proposal requirements. They assist in counseling business partners with best practice solutions for producing creative, cost-effective graphic images. 2D graphics are produced as required and the Multi Media Production Specialist partners with the Advanced Media video department to deliver 3D images.
Five years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel). Expert PowerPoint skills required.
Strong knowledge and understanding of current graphic art production standards, practices, terminology
Strong knowledge and understanding of version control management
- Ability to work seamlessly (staying cool) under the pressures of tight deadlines, changing customer demands, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and overtime (weekends/nights)
Proven ability to work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to turn written, numerical and existing content into compelling graphic representations.
Successful track record of creating complex solution graphics.
Experience working with a range of software and design tools to create graphic output that can be incorporated into documents with stringent requirements.
Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, and very proficient in using MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Experience in supporting final production, troubleshooting and resolving problems ensuring the delivery of professionally prepared documents and compliant proposal volumes.
Bachelor's degree in graphics arts is preferred, experience can outweigh degree.
5 years of relevant experience in design, graphic development, and working on large critical projects with inflexible deadlines.
